Cohesion originally began as an advertising agency. Today, some of the same agencies that Cohesion once competed against now hire the brand & marketing consultancy, according to Brian Creath, managing principal of Cohesion.

“A lot of people still think of us as an agency and that’s just not who, or what we are,” says Creath.

Recently, Cohesion has teamed with longtime agency executive and new business expert Dick Vinyard to form The Strategic Edge, a service offering specifically focused on the strategic needs of agencies.

Using The Strategic Edge, Creath says that agencies and creative firms can offer a complete suite of strategic services to their clients, either private-labeled as the agency’s own services, or through an agreement in which the agency introduces The Strategic Edge as a third-party expert and the agency then shares revenue.
