Cohesion Seeks Mid-Level Strategic Copywriter/Researcher

Cohesion, a St. Louis-based brand agency, seeks a unique hybrid individual to work with our growing team.

Our firm is an interesting hybrid business: a nationally recognized brand consultancy + a full-service marketing/advertising agency. We were originally formed in 1999 and continue to use and hone a messaging architecture process we developed more than 10 years ago.

Now, we need writing help. Lots of it. Not just traditional copywriting work, but a wide range of strategy writing, copywriting and even some background/discovery work/writing. We’re looking for someone that can switch gears often, but maintain a clean, concise writing style…getting to the point early and often. If you can write in an editorial style, too, that’s a bonus. Are you good with research, story interviews and dealing with clients? Bonus numbers two, three and four.

We’re open to experience level, but the right person probably has at least 5-8 years of copywriting experience — at least some of it agency-side. We have a healthy mix of B2C and B2B clients, so if B2B work scares you, we’re not a good fit.

This work will more than likely start on a contract/freelance basis, but can move rapidly to a full-time position for the right person. Fee/salary commensurate with experience and quality.
